Ben Albritton Jr. is a fourth generation citrus grower and is currently an active managing partner for Albritton Cos., a group of family-owned companies involved in grove ownership, grove care and management, horticultural consulting, risk management and insurance.
Ben has actively served the Florida citrus industry, as well as his local community of Wauchula, for the past 15 years. He has served on several boards and grower organizations including but not limited to the Peace River Valley Citrus Growers Association, Florida Citrus Mutual, and East Charlotte Drainage District.
Ben holds a Bachelor's Degree from Florida Southern College in Citrus and Business. He is also a Certified Crop Advisor and he holds an active general lines insurance agent?s license. In addition, he has completed executive level training at Columbia University as well as graduate level horticulture training at CREC in Lake Alfred.
Outside of his faith, Ben considers the most important facet of life to be his family. He and his wife, Missy, have 3 small children - Rebecca, Joshua and Ryan. Ben enjoys serving as an Elder in his local church, First Christian Church of Wauchula, where he focuses on missions, shepherding and leadership.
