Michael O. Taylor is the vice president and general manager for Collier Enterprises? Agribusiness Division.

Taylor has more than 30 years of experience in the citrus industry. He previously served as grove manager with Running W Citrus and vice president of grove operations for Coca-Cola Foods. Throughout his career, Taylor has maintained industry involvement as a member and past director of Florida Citrus Mutual, member and past president of Florida State Horticulture Society, past vice president of the FSHS Citrus Section, member and past vice president of Gulf Citrus Growers Association, member, as well as past president and treasurer of the Collier County and Polk County Farm Bureaus. Additionally, Taylor participated in the development of Collier County, Florida?s Rural Lands Stewardship Program, which achieved award-winning recognition in the specialized area of rural land use planning.

Presently, Taylor is a member of the South Florida Agriculture Council, Florida Citrus Production Managers Association, Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association, Collier County Farm Bureau, Naples Chamber of Commerce ? Leadership Collier Program, the Immokalee Chamber of Commerce, and the Immokalee Community Development Corporation.

Taylor is a third generation Floridian, born in Sebring. He received his bachelor?s degree in agriculture, majoring in citrus, from the University of Florida.

He serves as vice-chair of the Legal/Government/Regulatory Committee.
