Steven M. Smith is the citrus division vice president of Alico Inc. His responsibilities include the oversight of all aspects of the company's citrus operations.

Smith has been involved in the citrus industry for 21 years. He is a past board member of Florida Citrus Mutual. He is a current board member of the Gulf Citrus Growers Association and a member of the Florida Citrus Production Managers Association.

Smith received a bachelor's degree in agricultural operations management from the University of Florida.

He serves as chair of the Product Research Committee.
